Disco Didn’t Die!

From my bedroom, I created a four part series on the history of disco music. From research to scripting, from recording to editing, I did everything involved with producing this series.

The series involved substantial sound design to create an immersive experience for the listener. The first episode takes them on a bar crawl through the various New York clubs where disco was formed, with music and sound effects being used to make it feel like you’re entering a new space each time.

All music used, I wrote and produced myself using Protools, and the narration was recorded and edited in Reaper.
